Lifetime background running around barefoot in search of wilderness and freedom. Moved from designing and developing technology, optimizing processes, and securing systems to inspiring cultural changes and encouraging others to step away from their desks for a chance to reconnect with others and the outdoors.
Long-time Texas resident raised on the beaches of the Gulf Coast and the farmland of Minnesota. I wasn’t born here… and I didn’t get here as fast as I could, but I’m rediscovering the many different outdoor spaces this state has to offer. The call of the wild has taken me from the fields of middle-of-nowhere Minnesota, to the mountainsides of California, to the rainforests of Australia, to the black sand beaches and howling winds of Iceland.
Mother to an amazing and adventurous daughter who encourages and shares the desire to be wild and free.
Earned my Wilderness First Responder certification in 2019. Traded in managing digital risk to managing physical risk on the trails during the pandemic of 2020.
My goals are to constantly be learning to be a better human, give my daughter an amazing and awe-inspiring life to grow on, and help others spark this kind of joy on their own life journeys.
